SPa Like Master Bath

This 1990s Plano master bath was transformed from a bulky, outdated space into a modern, tranquil retreat where the homeowners now feel at peace. Removing the oversized corner tub and the window above it allowed us to reconfigure the layout, adding valuable countertop and storage space while improving overall functionality.

The design goal was to brighten the room, keep it clean and sophisticated, and introduce subtle color through tile. Three new clerestory windows near the ceiling now bring in beautiful natural light, while carefully chosen tile selections balance practicality with modern flair—just the perfect color and texture of flooring hides everyday wear, and large-format textured shower tile installed vertically for a fresh, contemporary look. A concealed shower niche keeps clutter out of sight, enhancing the calm feel.

Finishing touches—backsplash tile running halfway up the wall, mixed-metal sconces, mirrors, and plumbing fixtures, and warm cabinetry—pulled everything together. The result is a serene, functional, and timeless master bath the homeowners truly love.
